Consider me caught in a time warp, where cheesy songs from the 80s and 90s aim to replace sensible words that are due from me to you (was that a song, or in a song?). I’m only human. Its no sacrifice. Still haven’t found what I’m looking for.
Whatever be the sound, I know this: I am living THE midlife crisis. Turned forty a few months ago. As a run up, had quips and tons of it lined up to unleash on my accidental reader. And like magic, the next day after I shook off the celebratory hangover, all those words disappeared. So midlife fact no. 1 – the memory goes first. Then the looks.
So these days I stutter, stammer, grunt, giggle… all signs of regressive non-verbal conforming communication which makes me a blunt knife trying to saw a blog of brie. And if you my friend, were able to decipher the irony, the pun and the satire in that last statement, you are safe. You are pre or post midlife crisis. To my simple minded brethren – D-uh!
They say that repetitive therapy is the only way to revive flagging minds and sagging muscles. Hence with great courage, I have charged myself to write once again. Never mind the cynics. Never mind the gibberish. Never mind the looney tunes.
So expect a restored dose of my take on movies and mojo. Here comes the hotstepper!

Welcome back….! The 40′s not a crisis….getting there is! Now look forward to great wisdom derived getting to 40! But then one wonders if it [wisdom] can be achieved getting to 60…Ha ha ha!
Missed you…good to have you back!
Hey, Good to see you back… and off course now look forward to even more wisdom.. cheers!
Phew ! Thought you had done what you had always threatened to do. Go and sit on a mountain.
Well good to know that you are back. Always remember that the windscreen of the car is severalfold larger than the rear view mirror. So do not bemoan the years elapsed, look forward to your fifth decade. They say the 50′s are the 20′s 0f the previous century.
Importantly, stay well, make others happy and Smile.

victor hugo: the 40s are the old age of youth. the 50s are the youth of old age!
Hey monu, i have 3 more years to reach there, but will go with mama & mami’s theory, coz my policy is the same looking back creates only questions in one’s mind (why, if , how) and the future has the answers….and who says we are old we are very young coz we are young at heart.
