This page is not about eggs. Well, at least not entirely.
It is, in fact, my attempt to write.
Well, that’s not completely true either. I do know how to write. I have, ever since I had an epiphany at age nine, standard four, when I wrote an essay titled “A day in a topsy turvy world”. I knew, almost like magic, that I had created something unique. Since then, this magic has seen me through academic evaluations, business plans, business reports, client servicing etc.
The most fun I’ve had with ‘writing’, I must admit, was when I published a weekly email to my growing brood of erstwhile employees in my erstwhile company. The email was pompously called Happy MONdays, and you guessed it, was sent out religiously on every Monday.
So Akuri Diaries is the next chapter. Like Happy MONdays, it will be about my thoughts, reactions, largely to things that matter like food, films and fakes.
Feel free to follow this diet. Or then simply delete.
BTW, you should download the Zemanta plugin, which works with IE and FireFox. This will help you jazz up your blog some. While you type, it will pick key words and throw up related blogs, other content, pics etc, all of which you can drag and drop onto your own to make it more complete and audio visual.
I use it and it works great!
Cheers!
nice tip. unfortunately, i use safari. will check out what matches… thanks!
Iam sure this diet will be very fattening, but I definitely don’t mind being fed to be slaughtered sometime later…..
Hi Monisha,
What an interesting name “Akuri” looks like you also have been influenced by Bawa’s …lol
Being married to a Paris, I am blessed with good food and but of course “Akuri” seems to be my favorite breakfast. I call it “mari bairi nu akuri”(my wife’s akuri).
Was wondering what’s the funda behind naming the blog Akuri Diaries.
BTW – some of your movie reviews has saved my some time n money, I make Hamsaz read the reviews before she drags me to the movies.
Suggestion – should have a separate page on whisky and wine, what say….
boss, bawas have some of the best food! patra-ni-machhi, dhansak, sali boti etc. of all dishes, my fave is akuri – it’s a perfect blend of so many ingredients, flayorsome, and best of all, can be consumed any time of the day.
a bit like my column wouldn’t you agree?
Nice to see it all there, the humour, the love for people, good food, travel and the the joy of living and being alive!
Do you have copy writer for so good articles? If so please give me contacts, because this really rocks!
